The switch box of my bike's transmission was stuck at the fourth gear after re-attachment yesterday. Thus, I drove to the repair shop. One of two the levers which press the pin for the gear into the hub didn't work anymore.
The mechanic just said "it's connected the wrong way" (no wonder, with a lever stuck), unplugged it, and plugged it back in. And indeed, the transmission worked again. Obviously, the lever was freed by vibration when I drove to the shop.
Don't you hate it as well when you drive to the shop and the problem is just gone?
