Valley of Fire State Park has become almost intolerably popular. It is hard to get a parking spot at the trail heads, especially with an RV. People bring their children, which is perfectly fine, but they don't keep them under control. While some rocks are fine for climbing, not all of them are. Not that the adults are more reasonable, though.
And the folks who built the streets and intersections must have been drunk. Drive slowly into a dip, after the dip the street tilts right, and then it immediately tilts left. This causes an RV to swing up dangerously. It is really hard to keep it in lane in such a situation... The park streets are simply not suitable for large RVs, even though the streets are wide enough. Intersections are built the same way. Must have been really strong booze.
Yet, it is a very scenic place. You should visit it yourself if you haven't already.
