When I woke up this morning it was snowing. Just lightly, and it stopped snowing eventually, but it remained quite cloudy during the first half of the day. I forgot to print out the route description to Toadstool Hoodoos, so we ditched that. We skipped Antelope Canyon as well, as it is quite pointless to visit on a cloudy day. Instead, we went shopping at Walmart and filled up propane and gas. In the meantime the sun came through and only few clouds remained, but it was a bit too late for Antelope Canyon now. Well, maybe next time.
Instead, we took off directly to Monument Valley. By the time we arrived there, it was cloudy again, thus no good photos of the valley. But look where we parked our RV:
It's the primitive campground at the visitor center. I just hope that we can get out of it through the mud tomorrow without too many problems...
But finally, we had a nice sunset. Not red, but yellow this time.
Right now my father is preparing the grill for barbecue. Depending on the weather tomorrow, we may or may not do the guided tour through the valley. Or try the (only) hiking trail.
