Watched several SIGs again while my parents went to the mall and Home Depot for some more browsing... David Barclay gave another great lecture on puppeteering and showed some very valuable tricks and a cool animatronic costume head:
(Dave Barclay, Steve Plunket)
The SIG about how to tell your parents, friends and the media was quite interesting as well, though a lot of furries still don't take into account that CSI is a fictional show. Could we please get over it? It is the Vanity Fair article from a few years ago that's still giving us headaches, not a parody show.
The San Jose Taiko group was excellent and very impressive. Many thanks to the convention staff to invite those incredible musicians. Afterwards, I laughed my ass off at Furry Night Live. That's the spirit and creativity that was missing most of the convention. What a great bunch of entertainers.
To wrap it up: Further Confusion was great again, many improvements in various areas. The art show exceptionally good, the dealers room had not much of my interests. The SIGs are slowly getting better, but maybe that's because I spent most of the time at the puppetry track. BBFs dance was great as always. What's missing was the good fursuit fun at the lobby. A huge amount of costumes in the parade, but where were they the rest of the time? But the atmosphere was great, and that's what it is all about, after all.
