California 2009: Aviation and Dead Dogs

We went to the Hiller Aviation Museum in Santa Clara today. A hangar full of planes from the beginning of aviation in California to todays planes. Apparently, the San Francisco Bay already was the center of technological inoviation in the US from the end of the 19th century. Where else would you find a wooden plane (that actually flew) constructed by two 15 year old brothers in 1906? I haven't sorted the pictures yet, but the view from the obeservation platform at the municipal airport was also quite interesting.

Further Confusion, day 2 - 4

This FC was the most laid-back, relaxing one since years. I only attended one panel, instead I chatted with a lot of people I haven't met for months. Not many purchases by me in the dealers room (just one calendar and one of Tani's mood badge collections), none in the arts how. The amount of fursuits in the parade was amazing: 530 costumes according to Frysco. This year, they didn't fit under the roof anymore.

New Year's Eve Party

The new year's eve party in Suhl was great! I even managed to make a picture of Günther, a strange guy showing up at the party:

Cologne Furdance 2

Apart from annoying people on the train, the weekend was very nice. It started with tchk's very nice birthday party on Friday, on Saturday morning and afternoon I went photographing in Cologne, and at night I was attending the second Cologne Furdance. It was fun, and thanks to cheetah_spotty's nagging I already have edited the pictures.

Cat Content

Herbstcon was great. The new location is just perfect, the food was excellent (I gained one and a half pounds on weight and it took me all week to get back to my regular diet,) the atmosphere very relaxed, great people anyway, and the Daubachtal very lovely. Everyone loves the four months old kitten, and apparently it also loved us...

EF over

Wolf exhausted.

Final Pawpet Rehearsal

For the last couple of days we had the last rehearsals of the Eurofurence puppet show. Well, except for the dress rehearsal, of course, which will happen on site. As usual, it was a very busy and productive weekend. Without flooding, fortunately. I was a bit concerned after the first run on Saturday, as quite a lot of things just didn't work and every scene had to be played twice. But yesterday's rehearsal went quite smoothly and I'm reassured that it will be working in Suhl.
