Zion National Park, the next stop on our tour. Most of the trails weren't fully accessible. The open parts (except the Pa'rus trail) were quite slippery. The Riverside Walk was closed at half of the way due to fallen ice, so no access to the narrows. But the open part of it was very scenic and nice. The emerald pools hikes were extremely slippery, so we never got to the pools, but the view into the valley was great. Finally, being fed up with snow, we took the Pa'rus trail along the Virgin river near the visitor center. Very different vegetation, and no snow.
Thank god the RV has an auxiliary battery. I left the lights on while we were on Pa'rus trail, for approximately 90 minutes, and it drained the main battery. The main battery seems to be a bit weak, I never had to use the aux battery on three trips before.
We are now on a campground near Mesquite, NV, as the one in Overton where I intended to stay was already completely occupied, and when calling the other one I just had the voice mailbox on the phone... This means still no Internet except the semi-public Internet room at the resort.
