reminds me of my old appt where they used to come round for dinner :) we figured out the place they drippled in from and nailed a board infront of it. I guess they went to the neighbors now or starved ;)
I'd lend you my cat, but he'd catch them and drop them in your bed, alive
I had to throw away ten packages of ramen, two portion bags of rice, three bags of pretzel sticks, one large back of other salty snacks, one tetra pack of spaghetti sauce and two nougat snacks...
I've secured the remaining supplies in tightly locked plastic boxes now.
Fun fact: the mouse didn't touch the spaghetti, nor the chocolate-covered cookies.
My parents have had the same problem some times ago. Happily for them (and badly for the mices), I've spot one when we were eating, it was just walking on the table at the other side of the room. Even if I was pretty quick, I didn't manage to grab it quickly enough and it escapes me, so bad for it, as it has ended in a trap a little while after that. Apparently, it was just a couple, but if I didn't have seen it the other day, I wonder how many of them there would be today. Good luck to you to get rid of that problem.

You are lucky: a few weeks after I bought my house, I saw many of these in the garden:

I don't care if there are rats in the garden or streets, but I certainly don't want them to be in the house.
Likewise, I don't mind mice in the cellar or attic. But I don't want them in my apartment, especially not in the kitchen...
