Yosemite Nat'l Park. What a sight!

(lynx rufus, near Lower Yosemite Falls)

Woops, I mean:

(Mirror Lake, Yosemite Nat'l Park)

After finding a place on an incredibly poor plowed site at Upper Pines campground, and lots of swearing while trying to back up to it, we started with a walk to the Lower Yosemite Falls. On the way to the trail we saw above bobcat which wasn't bothered by all the activity around it at all. We spent quite some time at the falls, I was filming a bit with the video cam and took some photos. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to charge the batteries of the photo cam last night due to the weak main battery of the RV. And of course, the spare battery was nearly empty as well. I was able to shoot quite a number of photos anyway.

Second and last stop for the day was Mirror Lake. A very nice trail, but the mirror effect was a bit weak. Too much wind rippling the water.

The way to Sacramento took longer than expected. First there was some construction work on the roads of the park, which was badly hit by avalanches and mud slides this year. Then, after coming out of the mountain area, high winds made driving quite difficult. It was really hard to keep the RV in lane sometimes. But we arrived safely, yet tired, in West Sacramento.
