Finally booked everything for our vacation in January

I went to the travel agency yesterday and finally booked the plane tickets, RV, rental car and hotels for my group for the vacation in January. Much like the 2005 vacation, it will be an RV roadtrip with two RVs, a couple of days in San Francisco and of course attending Further Confusion. Unlike that infamous trip, we'll have the two crews split into the infamous FIA Jägermeister (tanidareal, bigbluefox, Jaryic and nachtfuchs) who love to sleep long, and an early bird crew (f_u_r_v_a_n, Kayjay, lynard_, tioh and me) who will be up early in the morning -- in my case only due to jet lag, I have to admit. This allows the FIA Jägermeister to relax and the Early Birds to actually see all the attractions. :-)

The Bomb

unclekage probably would say that the Royal Air Force forgot some of their equipment after they finished the renovation of Nuremberg in January, 1945...

Sorted photos

As yesterday was not only a national holiday but it also was raining cats and dogs, I edited and sorted my photos at last. The photos have a vastly varying quality. The animal park pictures are edited and their colour adjusted for LCD screen. All others aren't.

Furniture Removers

I do understand perfectly well that my landlord wants to put the apartment next to mine up for rent again as fast as possible. And I can also relate to his decission to quickly order movers who would remove the furniture and other belongings my ex-neighbour has left behind.

Visitors and other things that happened last week...

Last week, I had doco and imperial_wolf staying at my apartment for two nights. They were travelling Germany by train for a week and visited the Railway Museum Nuremberg.

Constitution? What constitution?

The spokesperson for domestical security of the German social-democrat party, Dieter Wiefelspütz, proposed that the planned anti-terror files (which are very likely unconstitutional to begin with) should also contain data such as religious denomination or "sexual deviance", whatever that means. He also rejects public criticism of his proposals by saying that it is only the parliament's decision and nobody else's.

Sorry, <a href="http://www.garlandjeffreys.com/">Garland...</a>

but the title "best concert of the year" now belongs to Heather Alexander. Wow, that woman rocks the castle! Literally.
