Can someone enlighten me what the benefit of this Snap.com bullshit is supposed to be? I just see problems with it. It is against the concept of links, annoying as hell, creates a data trail with my personal data at snap.com (which could be used to blackmail, tells them practically my whole friends list, tells them which friend entries I actually read), might be abused for cookie-stealing, cross-site-scripting and the like, fakes page impressions at the target sites, etc, pp.
Snap.com is breaking my privacy. Was adblocked on most of my machines. Now on the Laptop as well.

Under my related post, thesmileetiger asserts that Snap.com has bribed LJ for the information. And he knows the market, if not the specific firms.

Check spock.com and yasni.de - both good candidates for adblock, too.
